The EIDBI benefit is a Minnesota Medicaid program. Here's what a child needs to qualify.

Child Must Have

  • A diagnosis of ASD or related condition established through a CMDE evaluation
  • Documented medical need for EIDBI services through the evaluation
  • Enrollment in a qualifying Minnesota health care program
  • A current Individual Treatment Plan (ITP) guiding services

The EIDBI benefit is a Minnesota Medicaid program covering services for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder or related conditions. It is available to those enrolled in Medical Assistance, MinnesotaCare, TEFRA, or other qualifying programs who have established medical need through a CMDE evaluation.
